A look inside the practice

I'm Courtney, a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in North Palm Beach. Much of my work is with people carrying profound loss, often the death of a spouse or partner, and with couples and individuals who feel stuck in a season they didn't choose.

Therapy with me is unhurried and human.

I utilize a systemic approach, which means we don't look at you in isolation. Our relationships, families, histories, and environments all influence how we experience ourselves and one another. Sometimes understanding those connections can help things that once felt confusing or stuck begin to make more sense.

My work draws from family systems, narrative, mindfulness, solution-focused, and other evidence-informed approaches. I care about using methods grounded in research while adapting the work to the person, couple, or family in front of me. Therapy should never feel like a one-size-fits-all formula.

With couples, I also incorporate Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Level 1 training, alongside the broader systemic work we do together.

Sessions are available in person in North Palm Beach, with limited availability in Fort Lauderdale, and virtually throughout Florida.

If you're weighing whether to reach out, a free 15-minute consultation is a low-stakes way to see whether this feels like the right fit.

A systemic approach

Looking at the whole system, not just the symptom

Together, we can look at the patterns connecting relationships, families, histories, and environments so your experience is understood in context—not as something happening in isolation.

Fees & insurance

Private Pay & Insurance

Navigate Therapy is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Courtney can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Reimbursement varies by insurance plan, so clients are encouraged to contact their provider directly to understand their out-of-network benefits.

Why private pay?

Working outside of insurance networks allows the therapy process to be shaped more directly around the work you and Courtney decide is most useful, including the pacing, resources, and focus of sessions, rather than being structured around insurance-network requirements.
